The North Texas SBDC Network is pleased to announce Amy Freeman as the recipient of the 2021 North Texas SBDC Network’s State Star Award.
Amy has been a key part of the Navarro SBDC since March 2012. Amy was originally hired under the SBA Jobs Act Grant Opportunity and worked part time for the center until September of 2016. Amy became a full time Business Advisor in October of 2016 and a Senior Business Advisor in 2021.
In addition to her work with the SBDC program, Amy has owned her small bookkeeping business for the last fifteen years. She has been a consistent advocate for small businesses, primarily in Limestone and Freestone Counties where she led efforts and managed resources from satelite office locations.
