The “Taking Our Power Back” movement has appeared on Instagram with 10,000 followers. The cryptic page is operated by a vigilante group that includes Chris Hansen and Seth Francois. Exposé videos and articles featuring sexual assault accusers making claims about powerful influencers, such as James Charles and “Durte” Dom Zeglaitis, have upended the YouTube landscape.

Now, a vigilante group that includes former Vlog Squad member Seth Francois and former “To Catch a Predator” host Chris Hansen, is aiming to further the phenomenon with a project called “Taking Our Power Back.”

But the project has gotten off on shaky footing, publishing an anonymous accuser’s real first name in connection with rape allegations she made privately against a former member of the Hype House, the buzzy TikTok creator house that will be the subject of an upcoming Netflix reality series. That accuser was not informed her testimony
