Capita PLC said on Friday that it has agreed to sell its Secure Solutions and Services business to NEC Software Solutions UK Ltd. for a consideration expected to be 62 million pounds ($83.5 million) on a cash-free, debt-free basis.
The London-listed professional services provider said it is making good progress toward its GBP700 million of proceeds from disposals in 2021 and the first half of 2022.
The company said that the expected proceeds from this disposal would take the total proceeds to around GBP600 million.
“The disposal is another step towards a more focused and sustainable business for the long term,” Chief Executive Jon Lewis said.
