Could a 10-year-old invent the next Uber? This question will be asked and possibly answered at the upcoming Hardin County Children’s Business Fair.
According to a news release, the fair will host young entrepreneurs between the ages of six and 18.
The fair is 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. April 9 at John Hardin High School located at 384 W.A. Jenkins Road, Elizabethtown.
The event is free and open to the public. Registration is available at www.childrensbusinessfair.org/hardin-kentucky.
The release states that children create a product or service, develop a brand, building a marketing strategy and then open it to customers at the fair.
They are 100% responsible for the setup, sales and customer interactions, and parents seen selling or promoting their child’s product results in disqualification.
