Several organizations from the Jefferson City area will hold a free marketing workshop Friday morning.
The Minority Business Council of Jefferson City will host “How to Own Your Local Market” at First Mid Bank & Trust from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. Anyone interested in attending the workshop will need to register before 8 a.m.
According to the organization, the workshop will teach small business owners about online marketing strategies designed to grow their businesses. The free event expects to cover customer relations, starting a business, marketing, and sales topics.
Attendees will also learn about digital tools like search engine optimization (SEO), social media, and Google.
