Construction is underway on huge business parks in two of North Texas’ hottest markets — McKinney and North Fort Worth.
Both industrial campuses are projects of Transwestern Development Co. Its nearly 1 million-square-foot McKinney industrial and office park is adjacent to McKinney National Airport and will be used to attract business to the growing Collin County city.
The more than 60-acre McKinney National Business Park will include five buildings, said Denton Walker, Transwestern Development’s regional partner.
“It’s a combination of industrial buildings that fit the technology and aerospace engineering users,” Walker said. “We believe with the strong growth up there, we will see an influx of companies that want to be in Texas that are coming in from California and other areas.
