LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) — Business students at Western Technical College hosted their Suits for Success event today. Students put this event on to bring interview-wear to the community for free– but the distribution event doesn’t just benefit its shoppers.
The event, which ran from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Thursday, was a part of the business management program at Western, serving as their final project within the capstone course. Multiple teams come together in the class to make it happen.
“It’s really up to the students to make everything come together,” said Rachel Trailer, a Western student and project lead. “They can put all the things they’ve learned into practice to put on this event.”
