WEST SALEM, Wis. (WKBT) – Young business owners showed off their creative skills at the inaugural Acton Midwest Children’s Business Fair.
Kids created a product or a service, developed a brand, and built marketing plans.
On Saturday, they put all of their work to the test and interacted with customers at the fair.
“These kids have come up with all kinds of ideas and what’s wonderful is to see them light up because they’ve come up with the idea and now get to share with their community,” said Carolyn Colleen, the owner of Acton Midwest.
Around 50 kids presented 24 of their own businesses today.
Products and services ranged from jewelry and food to web development and lawn mowing.
