BENNINGTON — A Bennington resident is facing charges following a theft reported in Pownal.
On Thursday, police received a report that Joseph L. Hewson, 30, stole four outdoor tables from the Dollar General.
Troopers responded to the store and say their investigation showed that Hewson stole the tables as reported.
Police located Hewson on Friday and cited him to appear in Bennington County Superior Court.
He is charged with petit larceny.
